Mr. William 'Bill' M. David Jr., age 79, of Omaha, Neb. and formerly of Forrest City, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at the Arbor Manor Home in Fremont, Neb.Mr. David was born Sept. 28, 1925, in Memphis, the son of William M. David Sr. and Lilly Dockery David. He lived in St. Francis County for over 20 years before moving to Nebraska, was retired from the Civil Service, was a member of the Kiwanis, the Masons and the First Baptist Church in Forrest City.Mr. David married Michiyo Matsumoto in 1954 and she preceded him in death in 2004. He is survived by two daughters, Kay Hughes of Omaha, Neb. and Sandra Platz of Olathe, Kan.; and two grandchildren.Visitation for Mr. David will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
