Mr. Thomas Edgar Dodson Sr., age 85, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.Mr. Dodson, born Aug. 11, 1918, in Horn Lake, Miss., lived in Forrest City for most of his life and was a farmer and member of First United Methodist Church.In 1947, Mr. Dodson married Carolyn Kincaid and she preceded him in death in 1955. He married Edith McGee Hall in 1968 and she survives him along with one son, Thomas Edgar 'Tommy' Dodson Jr., of Forrest City; one daughter, Gladys Scott of Roe; a step-daughter, Mary Napier of Kimberling City, Mo.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Visitation for Mr. Dodson will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at 2 p.m. in Steven's Chapel with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery.
