Pennington Gap, VA Pauline M. Payne age 91 formerly of Pennington Gap, VA passed away on December 27, 2013 in Boerne, Texas. She was born in Lee County on February 10, 1922 and had made her home with her son for the past several years. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey A. Payne on October 6, 1982. Mom's life has not ended, but has just begun in a much better place. Heaven will be richly blessed by her presence. Pauline is survived by her son, Donald Payne and wife Leigh of San Antonio, Texas. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Cheryl Hale and Kimberly Rung, by four great grandchildren, Jacob and Bailey Hale, Riley and Cassidy Rung all of Belleville, Wisconsin. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2013 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at Sturgill Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA.
