He lived in Forrest City for all of his life and was a retired employee of the City of Forrest City. Mr. Davis was also a veteran of World War II and a Baptist.Mr. Davis is survived by one son, Roy Davis of Marion; a brother, Cleveland Davis of Forrest City; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Chapman in 1982.Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held tonight, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery.
